Overall, my stay at the hotel was quite decent. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, although the check-in process was a bit frustrating. The service was absolutely fantastic, with very friendly and attentive staff. The location was also a big plus, as there were plenty of beautiful areas to explore nearby. However, I found the dining options to be a bit lacking in flavor, which was disappointing given the rest of my experience.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was spacious and featured traditional ocotillo ceiling decor. It had crown molding, double sinks, a large tiled walk-in shower, and a comfy seating area. Overall, it was quite nice but felt a bit average for what I expected.
Service
9.0
Service at the hotel was top-notch. The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, making my stay feel special. They made sure I had everything I needed during my stay, which I truly appreciated.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful areas to roam and explore. I enjoyed walking around the nature trails, and being close to hiking in the Catalina Mountains is a major highlight.
Dining
5.0
Dining options unfortunately fell a bit short. While I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was decent, the flavors in general were minimal and didn’t quite meet my expectations.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel facilities were generally good, but nothing stood out as exceptional. They were clean and adequate for my needs.

7.2/10

My stay at this hotel was pretty good overall. The location is great, just off the I-10, making it easy to navigate through Tucson. The staff was friendly and tried their best, but I felt they were a bit underqualified at times, which affected the service. The rooms were decent, although they had a motel-like feel, and could have been more modern. Overall, it's a reasonable option with its nice grounds and amenities, but room for improvement in service and decor.

Rooms
7.0
I found the rooms decent, but they had a bit of a basement-like feel and overlooked other balconies and rocks. They were spacious enough, offering a comfortable stay.
Service
6.0
The service was friendly and helpful, but at times felt a bit underqualified and seemed to overlook some guest waiting times.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located near the I-10, which is a plus for Tucson traffic. I loved the beautiful walks in the nearby chef's garden and the access to biking trails.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was decent. Breakfast provided a good selection with dietary accommodations, but could have had more variety.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel has lovely grounds and amenities, including a nice pool area. However, the overall facilities could use some modernization to enhance the experience.

7.0/10

The hotel has a lot of potential with spacious rooms and a beautiful location surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed with their duties. While the dining options had some highlights, overall, it felt like the food could use a bit more flavor. It’s a fair value for money considering the amenities, but some of the rooms are definitely in need of a refresh.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious and well laid out, resembling timeshares from years past, but they really need some attention as they felt a bit run down.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to assist, although they looked overworked with multiple roles to juggle.
Location
9.0
The location was superb, beautifully landscaped with desert trees and flowering plants, offering a great spot for nature walks.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were limited, but I did enjoy the grilled chicken sandwiches tailored to my dietary needs, though the flavor could be improved.
Facilities

The hotel had a nice range of facilities, but some areas seemed in need of upkeep.

7.6/10

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and quiet, with a lovely view, although some maintenance issues dampened the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the service stand out. The location in the Catalina Foothills offers beautiful surroundings, but it could feel a bit disconnected from local attractions. Overall, it was a good value for money, but there’s room for improvement in a few areas.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were large and offered a good view, but they had some maintenance issues like a double-paned window that had lost its seal and one Venetian blind that couldn't be raised.
Service
9.0
The staff was very friendly and helpful, showing great customer service skills, particularly at reception and in the restaurant.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in the Catalina Foothills, which has beautiful settings for walks, but it felt a bit disconnected from the action in North Tucson.
Dining
8.0
Dining was enjoyable with delicious meals and support items, although I didn't get to sample everything on the menu.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, but I expected a bit more for a hotel marketed as 'Grand'.
